Registration Fee: Participants are required to pay for their accommodations. Church will cover meals and other costs.

Guest Speakers: 

Toua Thao/Xf. Xeev Tuam Thoj Toua Thao is the Director of NextGen Ministries at the Hmong District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. He and his wife, Susan, are the proud parents of three sons, Ezekiel (17), Israel (16), & Psalmist (3), and a daughter, Shiloh (9). Pastor Toua holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He is passionate about Jesus, the church, and the raising up of a next generation. 

 

 Sean East  
Sean East has been engaged as a missionally minded learner, a leader, and a practitioner, and participated in the training of 20+ congregations in discipleship principles.  A trained accountant and ordained minister, Sean loves teaching new ideas to eager learners and walking alongside leaders and congregations who seek to grow in missional discipleship so that as many as possible can experience the love of God and be invited to thrive in a life changing relationship with God. 

Sean's current employment is with the Mennonite Central Committee, serving as the Director of Finance and Operations.  Sean resides in Nithburg with his wife, Jacquie, and their four children:  TJ, Daniel, Rebekah, and Emma. They are passionate about church being about more than Sunday morning gatherings, and about participating in the Kingdom coming on earth as it is in heaven.
 

 

Natalie Frisk Natalie Frisk worked in ministry for 15 years. During which time she earned a Masters in Theological Study (Biblical Studies) and began pursuit of her Doctorate in Practical Theology with an emphasis on the spiritual experience of children (in process). While the curriculum pastor for a multisite church, Natalie published Raising Disciples: How to Make Faith Matter for Our Kids (Herald Press, 2019). She is now the Director of Curriculum for RaiseUpFaith as she continues doing what she loves: content developing, team building, and pastorally nurturing the souls of whomever she encounters. Natalie is married to Sam, mom to Erin, and in a close relationship with coffee. She loves Jesus with her whole heart and is a big fan of samosas.

 

Dan Yang / Xf. Ntxoov Yeeg Yaaj Dan Yang is a Hmong pastor who was born in Thailand. He began his ministry in Chiang Mai, where he planted and led a church and served as the president of the Hmong Christian Association of Thailand. Dan holds a Bachelor of Theology from Bangkok Bible College and a Master of Divinity from the Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina, Saskatchewan. After completing his studies, he pastored First Hmong Mennonite Church in Kitchener, Ontario, for nine years. In 2013, Dan felt called by God to return to Chiang Mai to minister to a growing Hmong church. During this time, he also provided leadership training for lay Hmong pastors from Laos and Vietnam. Dan is currently the lead pastor at the Friendship Church in Chiang Mai.
